The concrete pipe that caused a five-car pile up at Sungai Besi.
PETALING JAYA: A large concrete pipe caused a five-car pile up at Sungai Besi when it fell off the back of a lorry.
In the 6.45am incident Monday on the North-South Expressway, the pipe
fell as the lorry was travelling under a flyover and crashed on to a
car behind it.
Serdang OCPD Asst Comm Razimi Ahmad said four other cars were also involved in the pile up, as they were unable to stop in time.
"Fortunately, no one was hurt. We managed to keep the traffic flow smooth and cleared the debris quickly," he said.
